Smart Cleanup – Storage Saver respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the app.

1. Data Collection

Smart Cleanup does not collect, store, or upload your photos or videos to any external server.

All media analysis — including duplicate detection, similar photo detection, image compression, image resizing, and video compression — is performed entirely on your device.

2. Photo Library Access

The app requires access to your photo library to:

  • Analyze media files
  • Identify duplicate and similar photos
  • Compress and resize images
  • Compress videos
  • Allow users to delete or manage media

This access is used only for app functionality and never to access or upload your personal media files.

3. Advertising

Smart Cleanup uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

With your permission, AdMob may collect limited information such as:

  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
  • Device information
  • Usage data
  • Performance data

This information may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.

You can change your tracking preference at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.

4. Analytics & Crash Reporting

Smart Cleanup uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to improve the app.

These services may automatically collect anonymous information such as:

  • App interactions and feature usage
  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • Crash reports
  • Diagnostics and performance information

This information helps us improve app stability, fix bugs, and enhance the overall user experience.

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics never collect or upload your photos, videos, or other personal media files.

5. In-App Purchases

Subscriptions are securely processed by Apple App Store In-App Purchases.

Smart Cleanup never receives or stores your payment card or billing information.

6. Data Security

Your photos and videos remain on your device at all times.

Smart Cleanup does not upload, store, or process your media on external servers.

Only anonymous analytics, diagnostics, and advertising-related information may be transmitted securely to trusted third-party services such as Google Firebase and Google AdMob.

7. Children's Privacy

Smart Cleanup is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
